More medical centers are incorporating the new 3D Mammogram Systems also known as the tomosynthesis systems into their screenings.

This is big news, “The 3D technology reduces patient callbacks, the need for additional scans and biopsies, as well as patient anxiety,” said Tracy Legutko, breast health supervisor at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.
