Adoption Agencies

The following adoption agencies appear to be “cancer-friendly” as other cancer survivors experienced successful placements post cancer treatment with them. You do not necessarily have to reside in the state the agency is based in to utilize their services. Fertile Action does not guarantee success with these organizations, nor have we directly verified their current status with cancer survivors.

Countries from which cancer survivors have adopted children include, but is not necessarily limited to: Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Russia, South Korea (5 years), Ukraine, United States of America and Vietnam. China currently only adopt special needs children to cancer survivors Ethiopia seems to be the most cancer friendly country. This information can change based on many factors including political climate.
